Reading practice fails when the text doesn't match the phonics a child has actually been taught (an "instructional mismatch"); PhonoLogic fixes that by generating stories from only the patterns the learner knows and is working on.

PhonoLogic generates reading stories that only use words a learner can actually decode based on their phonics skill level. Teachers, tutors, and parents select which phonics patterns a child knows, is learning, or hasn't encountered yet — and PhonoLogic creates engaging, age-appropriate stories matched precisely to that child's abilities.

## Reading Levels

PhonoLogic uses its own Reading Level system (L1–L7), not school grades:

- **Level 5**: Final stable syllables, silent letters (e.g., knight, wrinkle, table)
- **Level 6**: Soft C/G, common suffixes (e.g., city, giant, helpful, kindness)
- **Level 7**: Prefixes and Latin suffixes (e.g., unhappy, redo, preview, action, picture, capable)
